A Day to Believe: Autism Awareness Day at Shea, April 22, 2007

There are still some $10 tickets left!
Reply to liz@kylebaker.com for this unbeatable price.

Join Kyle Baker and family for A DAY TO BELIEVE: AUTISM AWARENESS DAY at Shea Stadium, New York Mets vs Atlanta Braves, Sunday, April 22, 2007.

Pre-game ceremonies and festivities begin at 12 p.m.; game time is 1 p.m.

Most seats will cost LESS (only $12) than what you would normally pay, and the proceeds will be donated to organizations and schools helping children living with autism, like Autism Speaks.

This is a great way to see the game and support a wonderful cause. As one first-timer said of last year’s game: “We’re not into sports, but our family and friends had a blast. The Mets - the whole experience - was amazing.”

For best seats, the earlier you order the better. If you know any Mets fans, please feel free to forward this information to them.

To be a part of Kyle Baker's group (still some $10 seats left!) or for more information please contact Liz Glass: liz@kylebaker.com or 212-260-1712/646-287-3036

To buy tickets directly online or to make a donation:

1. Go to http://aaday.qsac.com/ (Tickets purchased at mets.com will not be credited to these charities/schools.)
2. When you type out the form online, after you entered your credit card number to pay, at the end of the order it will ask you to fill out your affiliation.
3. Please type in "NYCLI". Thanks!

The ticket prices are:
Upper Level Reserved - $12 each
Upper Level Box - $45 each
Mezzanine Reserved - $50 each
Exclusive VIP Tent Party ($250 & up)
(Adult)- $250 each
Exclusive VIP Tent Party
(Child under 12) - $125 each

Thank you.

I'm confused by this post. Are you actually organizing a group to go to the game, or are you simply promoting it out of goodwill?

Either way, as the parent of an autistic child and an avid Mets fan, I'm interested in the former and thrilled by the latter. Please advise.

Thank you so much for the question; sorry that the post wasn't clear.

Liz, I have two ayes from me and my husband, and two more ayes from Glenn and Brandy Hauman. That's the ComicMix contingent.

Peter David seemed interested but he can't be up in the nosebleed section, he gets vertigo (seriously), so if you have seats closer to the field please contact him.
